FTC Disclosure
How the Site earns money, and how we tell you about it.
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Content Network Insider is free to read. In line with the US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), this page explains how the Site earns money and how we tell you about it.
Affiliate links
Some links in our guides are affiliate links, for example to camping and outdoor gear, furniture, string lights, party supplies, décor, glassware and wedding supplies. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer. It costs you nothing extra, and it helps us keep the guides free. We aim to link to items that fit the setup a guide describes, and a commission does not change the price you pay.
Advertising
The Site displays advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense and other ad partners. Ads are separate from our editorial content, and we do not control which ads appear. An ad on the Site is not an endorsement of the advertiser or its products. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.
Sponsored posts and free products
If a post is sponsored, or we are paid or given a product in exchange for a mention, we will say so clearly near the top of that post. Unless a post says otherwise, it is not sponsored.
Opinions and accuracy
Our guides reflect our own opinions and research at the time of writing. We work to keep information accurate, but products, prices, rules and availability change, so please check details with the retailer, venue or authority before you buy or plan.
Not professional advice
Our guides are general information and not professional advice. Please read the safety and advice notes in our Terms of Service before you camp, cook over fire, build or host.
